TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF OUR SERVICES

The english version of our website is under construction.
What is the Clinic?
The Clinique Droits Devant assists people who have lived, are currently living or are at risk of homelessness to take control over their legal situation, mainly over tickets linked to the occupation of public space in Montreal.
People living homeless in Montreal receive many tickets for trivial reasons (loitering, sleeping on a bench, urinating in a public space, crossing a street diagonally, etc.). This judiciarization has serious consequences for the person and many costs for society. To know more about the judiciarization of homelessness in public space, you can consult this study and this report.
